Calories, macros & the nutrients underneath

One photo logs the whole plate.

Point your camera at your meal and it's logged: calories, protein, carbs and fat, in about ten seconds. No database to search, no weighing, no giving up by Wednesday. Then Replete tells you the thing a calorie counter never did, whether the food was actually any good for you.

Logging that takes ten seconds

Four ways in. Pick whichever is faster.

Photo scans are the only thing with a free cap, because they're the one expensive part. Barcode, voice and typing are unlimited for everyone.

How it works

Go from guessing to knowing, in seconds.

  1. 1

    Snap your plate

Point your camera at any meal. Replete names each food, sizes each portion, and tells you how confident it is about both.

  2. 2

    Correct anything it missed

Tap a food to fix its name or its portion, remove it, or add the thing the camera couldn't see. You are the source of truth, always.

  3. 3

    See what it was worth

Calories and macros, the vitamins and minerals underneath, and an honest score for the plate. No lecture, no "you failed".

The honest bit

A score that will not flatter a treat.

Every plate gets a score out of 100 and a letter. It reads the protein and fiber the food brings against what it costs you in added sugar, saturated fat and salt, then weighs how processed it is. A fortified ultra-processed snack cannot score its way out of being one.

The score reads no targets at all. Two people who scan the same food see the same letter, and nothing you change in your settings can buy a better one. That's the whole point of it.

Ultra-processed food caps out here, however much it's fortified.

Beyond calories

The nutrients a calorie app hides.

Iron, B12, calcium, vitamin D, zinc, omega-3, iodine. The ones people run short on for months without ever seeing it on a plate. Replete reads all of them from the same photo.

Macros
Protein Carbs Fat Fiber
The seven most people fall short on
Iron Vitamin B12 Calcium Vitamin D Zinc Omega-3 Iodine
And eight more, if you want them
Vitamin C Magnesium Potassium Folate Vitamin A Vitamin E Vitamin B6 Selenium

You pick which ones Replete follows.

Choose the nutrients you want on your dashboard and set your own target for each, with the recommended figure always shown beside yours. It's free for everyone, and it's set up from your answers before you touch it, so it stays an option and never homework.

Your numbers, from your body

Calorie and protein targets built from your own height, weight, age and activity, not looked up in a table.

Losing or gaining, honestly

Replete adjusts your calorie figure and tells you by how much, then stops. Your protein target holds, which is when it matters most.

The scale, without a verdict

Log your weight and watch the trend line. It says which way it moved and over how long. Nothing on it grades you.

One goal at a time

Pick a single thing to aim at today, like hitting your protein or keeping added sugar down, and watch the streak build.

Reserves, not just today

Some nutrients bank for weeks and some reset daily. Progress shows how long your stores last at your current pace.

Yours, on your phone

No account and no sign-up. Your meals, photos and nutrition profile live on your device, and the dashboard works offline.

Questions

The things people ask first.

How accurate is a photo, really?

It's an estimate, and Replete says so: every scan shows how confident it is, names the reference it sized the plate against, and flags any food it wasn't sure of. Then you fix whatever's wrong in a tap. A guess is never presented to you as a fact, and your correction is always the final word.

Do I have to photograph everything I eat?

No. Scan a barcode for anything packaged, say what you ate out loud, or type it in plain words. All three are unlimited and free, so there's always a path to a logged meal that costs you nothing.

Does it work for how I eat?

Replete assumes no diet. There's one universal baseline and you tune it per nutrient, so it fits whether you eat meat, fish, dairy, eggs, plants or some mix of all of it. When a nutrient is low it names the best source for it, whatever that source happens to be. The one hard rule is factual: B12 is only credited to animal foods or genuinely fortified ones, never seaweed or spirulina.

What does it cost?

Free to download and free to use. Photo scans are capped at 2 a day on the free tier; Premium removes that cap for $39.99 a year or $2.99 a week and unlocks nothing else. Cancel anytime through your App Store or Google Play account.

Do I need an account?

No. There's no sign-up, no email and no cloud profile. Your meals, photos and nutrition profile stay on your device, and the dashboard works offline. Read the privacy policy for the short list of things that do leave your phone.

Can I change what the app tracks for me?

Yes, and it's free. Pick which nutrients Replete follows, put them in the order you want, and set your own target for any of them, with the recommended figure always beside yours. One thing it can't change: the meal score, which always uses the standard guideline so it stays honest.

Is this medical advice?

No. Replete is a wellness tool that gives you estimates and general nutrition information. Talk to a healthcare professional before making dietary changes or starting a supplement.

Eat. Snap. Done.

Log your next meal in ten seconds, and find out whether it was any good for you.
